Our translation process mainly comes from human translation; nevertheless, machine translation is also embraced.
What is human translation?

Human translation is the process of converting text or speech from one language into another by a person (a professional translator or interpreter), rather than by a machine or software.
It involves not only understanding the words but also capturing meaning, tone, context, culture, and intent so the message makes sense to the target audience.
Key points about human translation:

  • Accuracy & Nuance: Humans can handle idioms, humor, cultural references, and emotional tones that machines often miss.
  • Context Awareness: A translator considers the purpose of the text (legal, medical, literary, marketing, etc.) and adapts it accordingly.
  • Creativity: For marketing, literature, or branding, human translators can adapt content so it feels natural in the target language.
  • Quality Assurance: Translators can revise, proofread, and ensure the translation aligns with style guides and customer needs.

What is machine translation?

Machine translation (MT) is the use of software or AI systems to automatically translate text or speech from one language to another. While it may not match the nuance of human translation, it offers several important benefits:
Key points about machine translation:
 1. Speed

  • Translates large volumes of text almost instantly.
  • Useful for urgent needs or when dealing with massive content like websites, user manuals, or product descriptions.

2. Cost-Effectiveness

  • Often cheaper than hiring professional translators.
  • Free or low-cost tools (like Google Translate, DeepL, etc.) are widely accessible.

 3. Scalability

  • Can handle millions of words across many languages at once.
  • Essential for global companies managing multilingual content.

 4. Immediate Access

  • Helps individuals quickly understand foreign text without waiting.
  • Useful for travelers, customer service, or internal communication.
